Sharing and Exporting to PDF
Once you’ve created and finalized your document, you can easily export and share it as a PDF.
The Share Action
To share your document:
- Tap the Share button in your document (usually located in the top toolbar or action menu)
- The system share sheet will appear with available sharing options
System Share Sheet
Once the share sheet opens, you’ll see all available sharing methods on your device:
- Email: Send the PDF directly via email
- AirDrop: Share wirelessly with nearby Apple devices
- Messages: Send via SMS or iMessage
- Cloud Storage: Save to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or other cloud services
- Other Apps: Share to any other apps that accept PDF files on your device
Simply tap your preferred sharing method and follow the app’s instructions.
PDF Filename
The exported PDF will automatically use your document’s title as the filename. For example:
- Document title: “Patient Examination - John Smith”
- PDF filename: “Patient Examination - John Smith.pdf”
**Tip:** Give your document a clear, descriptive title before sharing to ensure the PDF filename is meaningful and easy to find later.
Supported Sharing Methods
TalkDoc works with any app that accepts PDF files, so you can:
- Email PDFs to colleagues, clients, or team members
- Save directly to cloud storage for backup and access from any device
- Transfer to other devices using AirDrop on Apple devices
- Store locally on your phone for offline access
Your documents are ready to be shared immediately after generation, with no additional conversion needed.
